Can someone tell me what these things are?

Hey I have a posted a couple of pics of weird things in my tank that I am just seeing now. I have had this tank for about a year now and they just started opening and showing up. If anyone knows anything, let me know. Thanks.

That first picture is very interesting. I have no idea what it is, but will give you a free bump and go along for the ride waiting for someone else to id them.

Hey,

Should I leave the clam in there, will it hurt anything or should I take it out, it is connected to a piece of live rock. Thanks!

Clams are harmless filter feeders and can actually help a little with your water quality. I would definitely leave that one alone and let it continue to go about its business.

Thanks again for the input. I am going to try to take a better picture of the other one when it comes out again. Thanks again.

Hey,

Ya I found out that the big round thing in the picture is just a clam that was attached on the rock when I got it and the second picture is also another clam just shaped like a seashell. So I just left them in the tank and they seem to be harmless.
