brown leg hermits

hey im new to this site but have had my tank for a year now, im having trouble with my hermits, i had 10 hermits red legged and blue legged and all was going ok , at christmas time i introduced brown legged hermits and now theyre running the tank, the other hermits have all disappeared and i only have the brown legged ones left. Is this normal? are they horrible things to have?

Brown leg are a lot faster than the other ones.
I think they grow alot faster as well.
I had one the size of a smiley
now he is the size of a half dollar. he is huge!!
but he never messes with my corals.
but he also killed my scarlet reef hermits
