you rproblem is the old crushed coral sand bed. thats whats killing the fish most likely. You need to break the tank down and replace it
the bristelwoms are just doing their job of cleaning up and you have so many of them becasue that filthy old CC substrate is giving them the food to flourish

I used a bristleworm trap a long time ago with good results- they just act like minnow or crab traps, in that you put in food so that they can get in, but can't figure out how to get out.

Like others have said, your inability to keep anything other than fish is likely related to high nutirent loads. Bristleworms are usually completely harmless and very shy (though I've seen them become aggressive in numbers), and I'd be surprised if they attacked the anemone. More likely, it was dying and they started to take advantage of it.
But I guess the best question for now, have you tested your nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia levels lately? I'm very interested to know what they're at.

ok i am also noticing these lil guys in my 10 gal nano...is a 10 gal large enough for a coral bandid shrimp ? and how do i take care of them befor they gro to be a problem ? the tank is about a month and a half old...stocked with live rock about 15-20 lbs im assuming thats where they came from was the live rock i bought...i have a scarlet shrimp about 8-10 blue leg crabs a turbo snail a couple troch snails and an emearld crab...will any of these guys fight amungst eachother (the shrimp) if i get a coral bandid shrimp will he or the scarlet or the emerald ahve aprob with eachother ? and will they take care of these fire worms?
