Brain has orange gook on it
I noticed today that my 2 week old brain has some orange to clear mucus looking stuff on it. What the heck is it and what do I need to do about it?

It is hard for me to tell from the pictures.
Does it appear to be getting lighter in color? This would indicate that it might be getting too much light and is starting to bleach out. The solution would be to move it to a spot with less intense lighting.
Are there any other corals close enough to touch it? If so then this could be its defensive mechanism of releasing slime as a chemical weapon to keep the offender away.

Like Aquawolf, it's hard to see in the picture. It could be some sort of cyano or other algae type material growing over dead portions of the coral, that'd be my first bet, but we'd need a few pictures zoomed out a bit to have any confidence in a diagnosis.

I do not have it near anything else. Here are a couple of FTS's. It is a 24 gal AP with PC lighting.
Thanks

It is still hard to tell, but you do have it very close to the lights. Even though they are PC lights I would try moving the coral closer to the sand bed to see if it starts to get any better.
Hopefully someone will chime in with other suggestions as well.

Should it be on the sandbed, or should it be in the rocks somewhere?
Thanks

If it were me I would move it down on the rocks about half way and see if it starts to get any better. If it doesn't after a few days then I would move it a little lower. It can be a little tricky to find the spot a coral is most happy in at times.
Best of luck with it.

I will move it lower in the tank, but I did put it where the place that I bought it told me to put it.
Thanks for the help!!

Me too, it looks like oarange slime, and it has covered more of the poor thing today just while we were discusing it. Would it hurt to trade places with the fire and ice zoa's?

Switching places is worth a try. You might also see if you can use a turkey baster to blow the slime off the coral as that might help it some too.
