Black spot on clown

Just got 2 clowns from the LFS the other day and noticed a black spot on one of them. Is this anything to be worried about?

Clownfish will get these spots from hosting in certain corals (zoos, mushrooms, etc.) other than anemones. Completely harmless.

i wouldn't worry as long as it doesn't grow or change color.

Just make sure that it isn't a black isopod or other parasite of some sort, can't tell if it is a burn mark from a coral or a parasite from the picture. Sometimes yellow Zebrasoma spp. get a small parasite similar to this (google "black Ick") that is treated with a freshwater dip. Look really closely at it with a magnifying glass, if you really are not sure, do a FW dip to see if it falls off. I think most likely it is a burn from coral, especially if you have no anemone and you DO have Euphyllids in your tank, this is common under those conditions.
