I am not sure what type of worm that one is. Check here and see if you can find a match for it. http://www.chucksaddiction.com/hitchworms.html

Good luck with the flowerpot they are notorious for not surviving in captivity. Be sure to let us know if you find out what the hitchhiker is.

GOT'EM!! Maybe a breed of bristle worm? If you look closely you can see it has little hairs on its sides.

That does not look like any bristleworm I have ever seen! It is probably a good thing that you got it out of there. As they say, it is much better to be safe than sorry.

any last thought on this worm would be nice. I still have it in "worm jail" in my tank. Should it stay or should it go now.....if stays it could be trouble.....if it goes it could be double

Since no one seems to know I say dump it and be safe. There are worms out there that are coral munchers and catching it again may not be as easy.
