Question

Algae ID please!?


not sure what kind of algae this is living amongst my gsp, but its starting to take over... its growing very quickly. what eats this stuff?

i can not remember what it is exactly. the good news is, if you can scrape off he base of the algae it will go away. it may be difficult with the GSP's all around it though. not sure what will eat it. it also tends to dissappear after the tank reaches a year old. at least this is what i have found in the past with my tank.

I used to have that algie myself, I remember taking it out by hand, but now I don't have it. I just realize I don't have it, so I don't know what happened.
