Aiptasia question

Hey all. I've been lurking for a while and recently started posting. I purchased a really colorful piece of Fiji to add to my 29gallon. I scrubbed it and managed to get rid of a crab that was hitchhiking, but I missed a fairly big aiptasia that lived through the process. I'd like to get rid of it, as it seems to be spreading quite fast.

I've heard that lemon juice targeted at the mouth will work, which I'd like to try over any chemical solutions. Are there any disadvantages/problems involved in using lemon juice? Will it work? Should I just purchase a peppermint shrimp to deal with it? thanks.

I just inject mine with distilled white vinegar and it works great, no bad effects.

Grab a hypodermic needle from your local pharmacist. Use that to inject it with lemon juice.

Thank you all. I don't drip kalk, so I don't have any. I'll pick up a syringe tomorrow and inject one of them with the lemon juice and go from there.

I inject right into the tank, too difficult getting the rocks out. I use the vinegar and they dont come back. I use an old syringe from a salifert test kit.
