A worm? Could it be?

I noticed this after adding in some coral into my 20 gallon. Any ideas what it could be?

As you can see he was grey in color and had a triangular head that swept around the rocks and entered small holes. When I pulled him out he shrank nearly 4 inches and turned brown resembling an earthworm in many ways. Couldn't find anything online about him.
