i got most of the chart figured out, but some of the others i am clueless on. not sure they mean much though.

if that 49 is decibels than that is great!!

the thing with chillers is they are all basically the same thing. only the size of the coil is different. about the only thing i would compare to get an idea on efficiency is look at another 1/3HP chillers flow rates. if this ones is higher than the other than this is a better chiller. the slower the flow needs to be the smaller the titanium coil is.

comparing chillers is a bear because of this fact. not to mention that their BTU ratings are not listed either. unless that is the 3500 number on the end. if you can find another chiller with a BTU number that would be even easier.

sorry..i missed some of the cut and paste

i am just looking for a chiller for my 225. It is going ot be a lps only tank so i dont think im going to drop my 250's right on top of the water anyway. I honestly think in my air conditioned house that the pci 1/10 would work but i found this for about $400 1 year old WITH the dual stage controller. I know nothing about them and just wnated input. There, hows a little info to help me answer my question : )

honestly, the most important thing to look for when buying a used chiller are the recharging ports. refrigeration units are just about bullet proof. if it makes noise, than it is working. if it is not cooling than all it needs is more refrigerant. refrigerant is pretty easy to replace if the chiller has ports. if it does not have ports than getting it recharged is a much more expensive proposition.
