Surge 3500 vs rio 1700 impeller?

I have both a Surge 3500 and a Rio 1700 that I inherited from a friend. I am setting up my 75 (build thread coming soon) and want to use one or both pumps. I figured i would replace the impellers just for maintenance sake and dang if they look like the same pump minus wattage.

I am having a hard time finding the impeller for the Surge, what are the chances they are the same part?

Take the impeller out of the Rio, put it in the Surge, then run it and see how it acts. If you have a Kill-A-Watt meter I would check the wattage draw as well to see if it changes with the different impeller. If the wattage draw stays the same with either impeller, then odds are they are the same exact impeller. Trying to google anything with "surge" in it is chaotic at best. Can you post a picture of the label on the surge pump? Doesn't really matter about the impeller, I am just curious. And, which one draws more wattage?

Makes you wonder what they screwed up to make that one pull so much more electricity than the Rio does. How does the Surge pump work with the Rio impeller in it?
