anybody use one of these, are they decent, accurate, good quality?????

nope, have not see that one. usually you can recognize the manufacturer, but i do not on this one. i am sure it is more accurate than a hydrometer.

I would say look at www.premiumaquatics.com or www.marinedepot.com they have them for around $35-$45 i think and nice ones.

this guy has some quality refractometers, I purchased mine for 26 bucks I think, and 9 bucks to ship. (total was under $35) And it was shipped fast. http://cgi.ebay.com/Salt-Salinity-Re...QQcmdZViewItem

jsut have to watch the items, I watched for a couple weeks, marine depot has the same one for 44 plus ship.

I would say to just get a more expensive one becuas by the time you pay for shipping from hong kong, its all going to be about the same price in the long run

only thing that scares me is look how they spelled refractometer on the carrying bag ! i'm sure that most of the ones we buy are manufactered in h.k. or china . that looks just like my sybon unit . i say go for it .
