Reef Water Reservoir

I'm trying to get information on burying a plastic tank (about 180 gallons) in the back yard to slowly replace the water in my 180 gallon reef tank. I can't find any information online. Can you point me in the right direction? I live in FL, so I can have someone come monthly to re-fill the reservoir. Someone said I need to be sure to aerate the reservoir, but I haven't found any case studies or people with experience doing this.

What exactly are you trying to do? Is it a heating measure or some other reason for wanting to do this? What you are trying to accomplish will go a long way to answering you.
