red sea max 130d

I used to have a 180 gal with chiller and all the other stuff that comes with it. I am now considering getting back into the hobby and am looking at the 130d. I really can't afford the 250. Does the red sea max really work? Would I need a chiller? Or would you recommend building a tank from scratch? Thanks for your advice. Rmcninch108

I have never used a package tank set up. There is usually stuff you don't need or that doesn't work that comes with it and I love to DIY as much as I can.

its a black red sea max 130d with the blackk cabinet stand
i took out the stock red sea skimmer and replaced it was a tunze 9002
koralia nano powerhead

its been running for about 9 months

How much are you asking? What temp does your tank maintain?I'll probably start with mushrooms ,small leather etc. What area do you live? Thanks Robert
