Question regarding R/O Water storage.

Hello all,
I am a new here and have just made the move from Fresh to a S/W reef aquarium. I am using R/O water which I am generating myself. My question is about the storage of water:


Are there any types or brands of plastic or rubber containers to avoid using for the storage and aging of saltwater? As I do not want any toxins to leach from the material and into my tank.

Rubbermaid Brute trashcans are considerd food grade. you can keep your RO/DI water in one of these for several weeks covered if need be. it is important to keep them as sealed as possible though. over time dusts and pollutants can get into the water causing them to start breading algae and bacteria.
