Will I need a UV Sterilizer for a 125 gal saltwater setup? I am planning on both fish and all different kinds of corals. The sump will be 60-70 gal. Any help would help! Thanks everyone!

A UV sterilizer is not really a necessary piece of equipment. Some people will swear by them, but many who have very successful tanks do not run one. You would be better off putting that money into a decent protien skimmer for your tank.

x2. Really no need. I bought the lie a while ago and when it crapped out on me and I took it out, I never noticed a difference in my tank.

I am about 2.5 hours away from Savannah, which is not too bad for me. One of these days I will have to go there to check out some shops as well.

there is only 1 LFS in the area, and its fairly nice but after seeing some of these other ones they are lacking in quite a bit of areas...

You should find out if they have an active reef club in the area as well. I currently belong to clubs in Columbia, Greenville, and Augusta. You will meet some great people that can help move you along in the right direction without breaking the bank.
