Thanks Casey. I hope so. I guess the easy part is buying all the equipment... Even though its not easy on the wallet. I just hope I can keep the living things living once its set up.

Canopy fans, How many do I need? Its for a 120 gal tank. Im using (2) 250w MH's and 2 VHO's. Can I use a couple of computer fans? If not, who sells a inexpensive kit? I found one of these fans from Coralife. If I were to go with this, how many would I need? Here is the info:

Product Information: 4.75" Cooling Fan Kit Low-profile fan for easy installation Dimension: 4.75" x 4.75" x 1" Quiet operation: 67 CFM @ 34.5 dB Dependable long life

Thanks...

I went ahead with 2 of the Aqualight 4-3/4" Cooling Fan Kits. My next question would be, Where is the best placement for the fans? One drawing air in and the other pulling air out? One on each end? Both on top of the canopy? ect....
Thanks...

One on each end of the canopy one blowing in and the other blowing out. I need to get some fans for my canopy i had got some 120mm computer fans but they turned out to be to big then i never went to go get anymore.

Tim, I picked up a couple today on ebay from a guy who is in Brooksville, about 45 mins North of Tampa. (Im sure you knew that.) I picked the kits up for $16.95 each + shipping. I went to the LFS after work today and for the same one, they wanted $29.99. LMK if you what the info....

HEHE yeah i know where brooksville is

Sweet deal for that price!! Yeah my LFS wants about that much for fans.

At one point in time i was planning on using a Computer Fan controller to control my fans but the controller ended up breaking.

Sure, Here is the link:

http://www.currentsea.com/wavemaker.htm

I went with package 4B. The package includes the Wave maker and 4 Maxi-Jet 1200 pumps. Not a bad deal for the price.....Real good deal for me since the brother in-law bought it for me...*LOL*

Time to buy the parts for my DIY power distribution center. How many timers are you guys using? Here is a list of what I think I would need timers on.

* MH- 2 timers (One for each ballast) Can I run both off one timer?
* VHO- 1 timer (One ballast)
* Moonlight- 1 timer
* CF for refugium- 1 timer
* Fans for Canopy- 2 timers Can I run both off one timer?

7 timers seem like alot. I am planning on using the Intermatic HD timers. They are rated at 15amps each.
