need some protein skimmer help

Yeah, I want the next to sump so I can clean it. I figure, even if it isn't the best skimmer, it can take care of this.

ok, so i didnt go with either. someone local had a coralife 125 they sold me brand new for $50. it fits and is up and running good. thanks for all the help and suggestions guys.

You won't get the same performance from that one as the others we discussed, but for your size tank and the price sounds like a good deal.

Now, the needlewheel won't work with the AquaC skimmers. They're designed for air port injection or something like that, they need a strong flow of water flowing into it, which hits an air pocket and starts to make bubbles. Not real sure how it works, but you need a regular water pump to run it.
