Need help with my light

I have a 36" Coralife light with two 65w fluorescent bulbs and 1 metal halide. My fluorescents won't turn on. So i purchased two new bulbs and it still won't turn on. The Halide works fine. My timer is turned on to the fluorescents so I know they outlet has juice. Any Suggestions would be helpful.

This may seem like a stupid question,.. but I figure it's worth asking anyway,.. The switch on the fixture didn't get bumped off did it?

If not, then I would think that the ballast is probably at fault - if you take it apart yourself then inspect all the wiring very closely for bad connections before you replace the ballast, and check to make sure the switch works properly. If you don't want to take it apart yourself, then sending it back is probably your next step.

Either the power compacts' ballasts are bad or some wire inside is loose. You can open it up and check for any loose wires. If all the wires are good, then the ballast is bad and you can get them relatively cheap from Fulham.com HTH, Johnny
