Do any of your in line chillers operate down to 40 F? I have a marine water table that i need to get down to that range to control breeding.

To answer your actual question, a chiller is best sized by how many degrees you want to drop the tank temp from max room temperature. You will need to buy a much bigger chiller than would normally be run on a similar sized tank. Some aquarium chiller controllers may not be able to be set that low but a controller like a Ranco can be used regulate the tank temp.
