havent used them before, but they seem to carry only 1-2 brands of pretty low end hardware. That may be a good buy for a pretty benign piece of equipment, but I've not heard of the company.

I'm not sure its all that great of a deal by the time you add the price of a pump and a light. You also should assume the skimmer on it is junk. I don't know it is but that just what is safe to assume at that price. Are you looking for a fuge for nutrient uptake, pods, biodiversity, or just because? If I knew what you were expecting out of it I could give you a better idea if I thought it was going to fit the bill.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

What are you hoping to achieve with the fuge? There's not a lot of space in there, I wouldnt expect a huge amount of nutrient reduction from it, but it may be a good spot for pods.

I bought lights from them twice, customer service is a real drag but the stuff worked well. I'm pretty sure none of their electrical is UL listed.

looks like most of the lighting is odyssea. they have a bad wrap especially for overheating. and they are not UL listed. my dad has one of their fixtures and was going to give it to me but i turned him down. simply because of that reason. if it were to catch on fire and burn my house down id be SOL. and i did see a horror story somewhere about their fixture doing just that.
