Help skimmer and micro bubles please.

Hi today i buy new skimmer fore me 30 g ref tank is it Coralife Super Skimmer 65g i install everthing how is say i now there is break in period 24-72 hours both if i have setup the skimmer tu produce the bubles in the chamber is working both i gething lotc off micro bubles in me tank i have the skimmer hang in back off me tank there is anything i con du tu reduce the micro bubles and have proper working skimmer any one con help please , please aim new in skimmers anithing help thanks.

have you checked to make sure that your pump is securely attached to the skimmer chamber and I'm not sure with the hang on skimmers but the in sump ones have a sponge around the stand pipe that helps with bubbles as well.

Did you cut the return to the proper length as per instructions?If yes then did you dial back the output of the pump and also the red dial as per instructions?

at first the coralife skimmers usually put out microbubbles, but as time goes on they reduce in numbers, but double check the drain hose lengths like the above post suggests

You also may want to run the skimmer at half it's potential while you break it in.

Running a skimmer at half its potential is simply going to prolong the break in period. If there are issues with bubbles during breaking, you can run a skimmer in a seperate container of ASW to break it in. It is better to run it full blast wide open to speed up the break in process.
