help me out!!
Well everyone it is about that time!! And I couldnt be more excited. I am getting ready to start back to school and because I was in the miltary I get the new MGI Bill which shoots me an extra 1200 a month just for living costs!!! That will pretty much all be going to the tank, because I want this thing to be perfect! So...now on to the logistics and operations and everything else. I figured I would write this thread and hopefully get it started with everyone to fill as much as they possibly can about what you think I should get. This includes lights, skimmer, ca reactor?, ph reactor?, controller, pumps, powerheads, fish, corals. I would rather have more top of the line stuff that works great than okay stuff that ends up not working out so great. Currently my neighbor is making designs in his class for my canopy and stand-it will blow you out of the water what he is planning on doing, thats why I kinda want to keep it hush hush until it is being made and I ca show yall pics. He is also making me a custom sump, exactly the way I want it done! So now I will leave the floor open to everyone! Give me exact models and everything so I can start looking and pricing and also how you would set up plumbing for this also?? I want as many ideas as I can so that way I can mold those into one solid idea! I am still new to this but it has me by the tail and is not letting me go!!! Just any input yall have would be great. I am on here all the time now so if you have any questions hopefully I will be able to respond quickly!
just in case yall are wondering the dimensions of the tank are 72" X 18" X 22". and it is a dual drilled both on each back corner of the tank. I have painted the rest of the back ofthe tank all black so everything is blacked out along the back side. its a 125 gal!! got it for $250, and is in really good condition! a few minor scratches on the front anyone recommend anything to fix those?? sorry i will prolly continue to ask and ask and ask questions!
