Heaters

Just wondering if anyone knows of a MAXIMUM current allowed for heaters.

I want to put my heaters in between the baffles where obviously there will be quite a current, is this bad? if so how?

Cheers guys

I placed my heaters between my baffles and had no problems. Are you using two? Its a good idea in case one goes out. Of course mine never came on much since I had so many pumps running that helped keep the water warm. I had about 750gph through the sump.

I really don't think you can have too much flow for a heater?

I agree, allthough very high flow may result in the heaters staying on longer to make up for the reduced contact time in order to wrm the wat. Of course you could remedy that with a 1000watt fire plug heater!
