Freeking MIcrobubbles!!

Ive got a real micro bubble problem.... Its getting annoying!

They are originating in the tube from my overflow box as the water flows down to the sump. From there the bubble make it from one side of my sump to the other side and through my bubble trap ( useless!) and into my tank.

Is there some contraption I can make to stop this ?

what kind of overflow?
do you have it adjusted right?
by tube do you mean the tube that is at the bottom of the overflow box then to the sump?
if so is it a straight flow to the sump? it should not be twisted in any way.
