broke my sump...

... so today is day one, on this sight and i spent more time reading about this hobby then i should have last night. (on my fifth cup of coffee at work this morning) what i needed to know from anyone that could help me,please.

last night i was doing a little bit of sump cleaning and my sump cracked, it cracked along the seam and up the side wall. poured water all over the place (as you could imagine) i swapped it out with smaller sump, and the broken one is drying along with the rest of my bedroom. can i salvage this sump or is it a total loss?

Consider using a Rubbermaid storage container for your sump. They are hard to break

You can get the glass pane replaced, but it may not be worth it (time or cost). How large was it? It may be a lot easier to replace.
