I am setting up anew 210 reef system and need a timer. I don't want to have to use multiple timers. has anyone ever seen used and liked any 4 channel digital timers?

1 Moon lights
2 Blue actinics
3 Day Glow
4 well maybe skimmer but who knows

I us three cheep HD ones. The Corlife (if I remember the analog) use to catch on fire.Someones house on here burned down and one of my LFS had a wall on fire,so I stay with the el'cheep'o.

Get heavy duty single timers from home depot or local hardware store.

Don't look pretty but don't catch on fire.

Also GFI outlets, if you don't have them get GFI adapters will keep circuits from overloading and will automatically shut down if they get wet.

I use an Intermatic outdoor rated 6-outlet unit from Lowes, it's load-rated at 15 Amps (~1650 watts), more than enough for my entire light system. I think it was $10.

I wish it was dual channel, but I could always get a second one if I need it.

*(edit)* I went to Lowes today, it costs $24 now, I must have got it on sale.

Intermatic DT620CH 15 Amp Indoor Astronomic Digital Timer is what I'm going to use when I make my control panel.

At first, I found the coralife to be pretty good. Then I added a 'Programmable Timer with Remote Control' from comforthouse.com (sorry no link) to control only my HQI lights. The reason being it has the neato remote control.
