Tube Anemones

Is it possible for these creatures to eat fish such as pearching fish, (Hawks,Dragons,Gobies) & how much light do they require?

Ive had one for over two years and never fed it anything directly....nor do i feed my tank anything except for some mysis fro the fish. I have him under 250's.

Ive never heard of them eating fish............not saying they couldnt....just neer heard of that myself

if you are talking about a true tube anemone, than no. it is actually not a true anemone.

one of those misconceptions about this hobby. i was guilty of it also. they are fish harmless.

they are also not true anemones because they have two different types of tentacles.

I just got one of those also. No light requirement (active mostly at night). I've heard people say it's a filter feeder so I keep it in my nano. Apparently, I was suppose to bury it in the substrate but the tube was SOOOO slimy I couldn't grip it and it fell between the rocks which it looks happy so I may end up leaving it there.
