Puffer with a Foggy Eye


Hi, have had my Spiny Box Puffer for about 3 weeks now and everything was going great. (eating, ect...) But when i got home from work today, His Eye (just one) is all Foggy. do anyone know what happend? and what i need to do? he is also in the tank with a Lion and sometimes the lion will get a little pissed at him, but they realy dont fight.

sounds like Pop Eye. if this is a FO system and you NEVER plan to introduce corals/inverts treat with antibiotics. If you think you mave ever add corals/inverts put him in a QT then threat.

I'd treat him in QT even if it is a FO. You don't want to kill all the good bacteria in your main system unless you have no other option.

I will use a QT tank, what would be the best antibiotics to use? this will be the first time i have ever used antibiotics on any of my fish.
