Puffer problem

The last couple of days my blue spotted puffer has been looking like it's gasping for it's breath. He is somewhat puffed up from normal. Not a whole lot but definitely bigger around than normal. My other fish are looking good. He rests on a rock all day and just gasps. Any ideas?

sounds like it may have gulped some air. not sure how to solve this though. it is prolly gasping trying to extract the trapped air.

that's kind of what I was thinking... he was fine the first time I saw him after work on Mon. and then in the evening he was bulged out and gasping... I hope that's all it is and that he gets the air out.

You may have to catch him gently in your hand, point his "nose" towards the bottom, and "rub" and "burp" his stomach (gently!) for a few seconds... this will help release the air.
