yes it gets to me sometimes but I figure out that holding down left click puts a little white box so I just drag it across and then read the chartt mainly focusing on clowns and the few, compatibles and then I researched first to see f I like the appearance and then the requirements but most require larger then my 60 gallon.

now i am starting to lean toward the flame angelfish but what concerns me is their upkeep are they as difficult to maintain as discus and angelfish for freshwater tanks.

Do I have to buy a QT tank for my fish im thinking about picking up the maroon clown on saturday! but I would really hate to get a sick fish despite this fish place being big and the people knowing alot I just want to be safe.

Also is their a such thing as a realistic looking artificial anemone??? hahah yes I know it sounds very noob but I just want my future maroon clown to be happy.

WOW belive it or not no.its not a bad idea. people have used string not sure what type but the clown took to it like it was a nem.
QT a very good idea. but i would wait a little while longer before you add another fish. flame angle very nice fish but you will need to add live rock for him to graze on and hide in. and the water quality has to be great very low to 0 nitrates.

this will convince you to QT fish find a thred by GWACO on uronema general reef discussion from now on nothing will go in my display tank until at least a 1 month period or more.

Wow I just read the post regarding GWACO on uronema and it made me feel really sorry for the poor fishies, and that picture was just OMG awful diease ....this has me strongly rethinking my tank maybe I will be better off with just a clown as I have kept a solo oscar for many many years and was very happy.

That was not very nice ha ha ha but yea maybe a maroon clown and something else that's about it. But you know it kinda takes atleast 2 - 3 fish to actually have good activity in the tank that way when one fish decides that it wants to hide atleast their is something else to look at .....

good rule of thumb 1. 3 to 5 inch fish for every 10 gal of water.

Maybe i'll be able to find a matted pair and be happy and just look for decent decorations to make my tank more festive lol.I would prefer to double that rule and provide 20 gallons for every 5 inch fish the problem is that most fish appear to break the 5 inch mark.

My friend was like well you could always pass on the clown and just go with like a trigger fish but clowns make me smile.
