New Tank Stocking

Just established a 33 long (48x12x12) and would like to make an aggressive single species (single fish) tank. I have thought about a frogfish or a dwarf lion. I would like to have some softies in the tank (to clear out my 75 for more SPS), and will leave out a cleanup crew if necessary.
I would like some feedback on my 2 choices listed. I do not want to have to persuade the tanks inhabitant to dine on non-live food. What fish would you all recommend?

Welcome to TRT!!!

I would definitely go with a frog fish tank. Very cool creatures and great entertainment watching them fish for their dinner.

I would'nt label a blue spoted jawfish as agressive...unless mine was a weakling! I also agree on the frogfish.

Thank you all for your replies. I was leaning toward the frogfish, and you have made up my mind for me. Now it's time to save some cash for the wartskin angler that I have been wishing for. I will post some pics whenever I find the perfect fish.

I will definitely want to see the pictures of the one you get. Divers Den on Live Aquaria gets in some very interesting ones as well.

I have seen the ones in the divers den. I would prefer to purchase something that I can see in person and witness it eating. I have several LFS's that I will be visiting this weekend. Hopefully one of them will have what I am looking for.

So far I have bought all of my fish from the LFS for the same reasons, although I have been tempted by Diver's Den a few times.

I personally find Dwarf Lionfish to be very boring. Majority of the ones I've seen just like to "sit" in one spot until feeding time.

Ever consider puffers? They have a ton of personality and are way more entertaining.
