Did you quaranteen him or put him right into the display tank? You can feed garlic soaked food to help w/ parasites and keep water params good. Is he in the same tank as the octopus?

I have a 150 that houses the mappa and the shark along with a few other fish. The octopus is in a seprate 24gallon setup. I will hopefully get a bigger tank soon because both the mappa and shark get huge!
