my new monster

just thought id show off my new monster.
some kind of speckeled grouper, thiers a few different latin names but i havent dug to deep into wich one he actually is when he was a juvi he was bright blue with yellow fins.
he spent the last year hidden in a sump eating all the dead fish the lfs through in for him so i decided since i have a big enough tank and im crazy enough to take him home i did

now remember this is a 8' long tank and the other 3 fish are a foot long each. heas about 18-19"long but very wide and tall(if fish are tall)

DUDE!! OMG. that is nuts. That fish has some force behind him

I double dare you to not feed him for a few days and then let him pick that thing out of your hand. make sure you film it

I have to admit the first thing I thought about when i saw that video is casting a hookless popper across the room into the tank and fishing for strikes.......

cool vid. thanks for sharing

Man... That makes me hungry! This is what I call Food (no offence) But Groupers Taste GOOOD!

Lunch time!

Also makes me want to go fishing... Did you buy it or catch it? If so, how much may I ask?

Many years ago... I actually went fishing and caught a couple of baby sharks... a leapard and a hammerhead. The leapard stayed in my 100G for many months before he got trapped in a huge shell and died
