Wow... thats frickin nuts How big do all those fish get? That is definately not a tank you could run topless! It kinda makes me want to drop some live mice or a kitten in there......... does that make me a bad person?

I have not seen toadfish get that big. I have seen some pretty huge pics of groupers. I mean they were fishing pictures but still.

i hope you are among the ones who are right, there is not a lot of info out there on my fish... i have seen top size estimates from only 10" to 1.5+'..... i think the 1.5+' is a stretch, but as fast as he grew in one year- i'm still apprehensive!

.....Holy freaking cow, those Jewfish are ginormous!

Just wanted to share some light on your mistery grouper.

that is my freynd a yellowtail blue grouper and maxes out @ 38"

i had 1 @ 15" i hand feed it but it had a bad habit grabbing my fingers and there was blood:s

then i had something hapening to my tank and i lost my yellowtail blue grouper peacock grouper and my panther.

now i have a lyretail grouper and a peacock grouper, and am ordering a bumblebee grouper and tomato grouper,

I am going with the poster that told you to hand feed and video it. Would be a good laugh...... If you still had all your fingers. Huge tank, by the way. Nice fish.
