My Fish Only Buddies (pics)

Back when I started out with a fish only tank the only thing I wanted was a reef system and couldn't afford it. After I turned that tank into a reef and got another reef tank I badly wanted a fish only system so I went ahead and did that. My tank is a 90 gallon wave front. I enjoy a fish only tank cuz the care isn't near as harsh as my reefs. I feel I can enjoy this better. Here are my guys=)

Cream Angel (carl)

Leuitenant Tang (LT. Dan)

Carl And Dan

Niger Trigger (Tigger) = my fav

Volitan Lion (Leo)

Lt Dan was the first fish in the tank. he stayed at the lfs where I work for a long time. noone wanted him cuz he was kinda bland there. he pulled through ick several times there so I decided to take him. all of these fish, other than the lion I kinda settled for cuz noone else would buy them.

Great pics! It's not easy to get pictures of fast moving fish.

I feed daily because I like watching them eat. Nitrates aren't in very good shape but with water changes life is good.

what do you have in the way of filtration? if you have nitrates only then you have an imbalance in the nitrogen cycle.

the only problem that nitrates will cause in a FO tank is algae/cyano. though that has more to do with its evil cohort phosphates.

he's a theif. When I'm feeding the lion from bamboo skewers, he'll shoot in and grab a silverside for himself and run hide behind a rock and eat it. he also chases a laser pointer.
