help, should i try to save my anemone or not????

I recently bought a new anemone, i'm not sure what species it is, it looks a little like a bubble tip but with out the bubbles just shortish rounded tenticles that are kind of flourencent yellowy green, and the main body is pink.

the problem is that it got caught in a powerhead and half of its body was torn to peices. i optimistacally thought it may pull through, this was 2 weeks ago, since then two clowns have made it the home. it isnt yet dead but looks like its on deaths door. over the past 2 weeks its getting more and more limp and stuggling to keep attached to the rock. it does however respond to touch and seems to pick up when stimulated by the clows every now and then. when the incident first happened i also ran a course of esha oodinex in the tank.

i've fed the anemone on 2 occasions also, doesnt seem to kean but kinda eats if put in mouth directly?

should i give up before it kills my ever so precious fish and corals of keep trying and how please help????

That happened to mine. If it is responding that is good. Feeding may or may not help. Anemones are odd creatures, some are so delicate others will live through anything. Mine looked dead for two months but never went limp so I put it in quarantine and now all of a sudden it's perfectly fine. Give it time, if it goes completely jelly then get it out. Once it goes jelly it has started to die. If you have any questions then just ask.

errrm so should i get rid then???

mine went limp and jelly like a long time ago, i think??? could you define jelly like? it hangs from its rock. it hasnt been turgid for along time but, i know i shouldnt of, but i took it out for a second the other day and smelt it and it aint dead just yet. but it has been like this for 2 week, i'm so confused. i can confidently say tho it does seem to be declining, not getting better, i think. should i just cut my losses?
