foxface fainting

my foxface has always been a bit skittish ever since i bought him around 8 months ago.
a few days ago i tore down my reef tank and started over with FO. i transferred my fish, including the foxface to my 55g.
the foxface has been frantic ever since. i try to stay away from the tank as much as possible but today i had to install and fine tune my skimmer.
this sent the foxface into a frenzy...a frenzy so bad that by the time i was done (15 mins later) the foxface was all brown laying on his side in the sand like a flat flounder breathing rapidly.
i figured he had a heart attack and that was it for him.
a few hours later i went in the room and i saw him upright on the bottom of the tank, better than laying flat! well when he saw me he fainted, i mean dead fainted he laid flat again in the sand. i figured he had one last breath before dying, i left the room to let him die in peace.
just now, several hours after the incident, i peaked inside the room all quiet barely opening the door, and wouldnt ya know it, the foxface was swimming around, bright yellow and picking off the rocks!!! that b*stard!!!
he is a total faker! hes fine, i snuck away so he wouldnt see me.

what the heck lol is this how its gonna be everytime i wanna look at my tank? how am i gonna do top offs and feed them if this foxface aka FREAKface passes out when ever he see's me

are they known to be this neurotic? will he get over it? i understand i changed his home, but all the other fish are fine

Do they make prozac for fish! Mine was like that for a few days till it realized I was the one that feeds the little bugger, he now loves to see me come to the tank!

"make sure that he has a good place or 2 to hide in the new tank"

yeah i made a few caves and left the back a little space so he could go completely behind the rocks.
he wasnt this bad the first day, a lil skittish as usual, but i guess when i fiddled with the skimmer he just couldnt take anymore.
this cant be healthy for him, panicking and passing out like this.
the funny thing is that HE's the one whos venomous lol not me

today i have to do a small water change..i dont know how hes gonna handle it
