Feeding a Redspotted Hawkfish

I just picked up a redspotted hawkfish today for my 110 gal FOWLR. My first fish in there and he seems to be doing just fine! My LFS said that the standard flake food would be fine, and he seems to like it. I'd like to give him somethign else though. Any suggestions? I have some squid cubes.

I'll pick some of that up. I fed him about 1/2 of a squid cube last night and he seemed to really like it.

Yup, just keep offering it different foods, it might not go for it right away, but soon it'll tie you together with food, and soon hopefully will check out anything you put in the tank,,,I think if it gets hungry enuf, it'll try anything you offer. The mysis is a good idea/food to give,,,experiment with the different kinds of frozen cube food, some brands offer a line of a few different kinds of food.
When i had my hawk, it ate just about anything, when it saw the other fish go crazy at feeding time,,,,so it just learned to jump in and go for the food, whatever it was,,,

Good luck!
