Bursa Trigger ???


my trigger seems to swim head first into my live rock.. and appear stuck 2 days ago i was able to fish him. tonight he did it again... is that there m.o.???? should i leave him or will he get stuck....

not sure what to do.. confused...

triggers do these things when they are frightened or just for the heck of it. Let him be. He can get out.

that trigger on the top of thier head is there for a reason.

when frightened they wedge themselves into a rock and flip up the trigger locking them into the crevice so that the predator can not suck them out. most predators do not bite and pull, they just suck huge amounts of water into their mouth and pull whatever was hiding in the hole out.
