most begin dieing at the wholesaler, they are aclimated to quickly and the stress of them moving from the ocean to the wholesaler to the LFS to you chsnces are someone messes up, the side affects won't be realized or a couple weeks and the price is usally paid by you the consumer, i have gone through 2 and both i acclimated for 2 hours and everything on my end was ok, but neither made it, with that said here are som tips:
1 don't allow LFS to put them in treir system, the usally have lower Sg. and the going from them 2 u does the star in, this make it one less step,
2. well establised tank, not enough algae, no more star.
3. if u do by from LFS, have them flip it on its back if it rights it self up, it is pretty healthy, an like anything make sure it is not mangled
besides all of that the are great to look at and do great ceaning up!!
good luck!!!

Acclimation is the key. AND if they aren't acclimated correctly it takes several weeks for the damage to show. It can be done at the LFS before you even buy it.

I keep my tank around 1.021 as was recommended by my LFS. I am new to this and my tank is new as well, Should I be raising it up a little?
