Hey all, i have 3 turbo snails in my tank and they havent moved at all all day. on each on of the snails a lil bit of their foot is sticking out. any ideas. im gonna do a water change(as part of my weekly regimen) if the 1 gallon doesnt suffice ill do a bigger water change.

i have an 8 gallon biocube.
the inhabitants are;
2 black and white sebaes
1 feather dusters
1 sun coral
Zoanthids
Mushrooms
Green Star Polyps

What are your parameters? Snails are really sensitive to any ammonia.

One way to know for sure is to pick them up and smell them if you can get to them. If they are dead you will know immediately by the stench and with an 8 gallon tank you would want them out of there at that point anyway.

how did you acclimate them? they are pretty sensitive to changes in salinity.

I was gonna say maybe they are sleeping. My turbos seem to find a spot hunker down for a few hours a day and get some rest. But I guess not.

you could have tried massaging their foot to see if that wakes them up. then i decided that there would be nobody here who would get that reference, though one heck of a funny story.

yes, i have been around that long and then some.
