Hi all,

Well after much consideration, the second tank never happenend. I'm happy with one for the time being.

I added a 6 inch lip stick and a 6 inch picasso trigger to the mix just over a week ago. The Sohol was removed from the tank for a few days so the other fish could settle in.

All seems well at the moment. The sohol attacts the lip stick every once in a while (nothing serious, just tail biting). The lip stick like all nasos are so chilled out, it's like the sohol does not bother him. He is in great condition and I now have the lip stick and sohol feeding out of my hand (along with the clown trigger and picasso trigger where I'm a bit more careful)

Pictures will follow, just want to add a bit more rock and re plumb the deltec to the overflow before posting pictures.

Just a few pics of my FOWLR tank that’s been up and running since October. Basic set up but water is spot on and the tank gets feed 4 to 5 times a day. This tank sits in my garage. But due to the low profile I get a lot of gas exchange (surface area to water volume ratio is very high). Air temp excess 40 deg today. Tank stays at a nice 28 deg (no fans / chiller).

No3 is 17PPM and 0.5PPM of Po4.

Sohol has grown heaps since I purchased him. I say he has added 2 inches in length in just 3 months and colours have improved vastly.

Clown trigger will be shifting soon. Plan on adding one or two angels to the mix. Tank had mono flukes to start with but that’s has been rectified (no more flashing).

Pics on the 2/1/07

Pics today 26/1/07

Sohol 2/1/07

For those who know this fish, I was amased how the adult colours have become more pronounced over the past month (orange behind the pectoral fins). This is just a stunning fish with a lot of personality and flourishes in the open space with a good varied diet and lots of feeding.

Cheers
Che

Thanks Geoff,

Pics will improve overtime, but the Sohol (Sinbad) is very active.

Will post pics in the next month to show growth of the sohol (Sinbad). By then I should have a rare chrysurus Angelfish.

Cheers

Che
