Will a pistol shrimp kill my firefish?


will a pistol shrimp kill my firefish if kept in a 10 gallon tank? should I move my pistol. YW goby pair to the 30 gallon?

the pistol shouldn't kill your firefish... I have never heard of that, you should be fine.

I had a pistol in with seahorses and a firefish and they all got along fine.

Only if your tank is over stocked and they have to compet for whats their to eat.

he may take out yoru snails though.

Our's seems to kill any snails the cruze by his hole

Don't put a pistol in a tank that happens to be in your bedroom.

Unless your fond of being woken up
I agree with the above, I don't think your pistol will hurt your firefish - but keep the tank well covered,.. those manly firefish are real thrill seekers, and they will go carpet surfing.

its in the guest room. the only people who ever stay in there are my future in laws so that sounds perfect. and the tank is well covered. There are 3 turbos in there because I got sick of them dozing frags .

i already have two mandarins but i want to put a pistol/goby pair in with them, would the pistol harm my mandarins?
