there are various fish that come and go in the trade. I have seen some in upwards of $4000... Check out the diver;s den and collectors corner on liveaquaria... So weird that their 14 day stay alive guarantee doesn't apply on these fish

i hope you are joking about this. That is not a damsel. And that angelfish would be a hot or miss in a reef system.

Genicanthus Personatus. It is an Angelfish but it is part of the genus that are mainly deep water and strict planktivores. A male was recently caught in HI and sold for $10,000 to a japanese collector.

I'm the guy who collected the G. personatus in Hawaii last month. kalel1976, I was just curious how you arrived at the amount of $10,000 as the selling price?

Sorry Rufus let me rephrase, I hear the store in the Japan (Blue Harbor) that acquired this specimen was asking $10,000 and it was sold to a collector.
