Okay Hoang, you might be giving out a little TMI concerning your television watching habits here. That is an interesting way to come up with their names though. Do you wait to see their personalities before picking the name, or name them all in advance as you are planning with the Sixline?
I like jammiebummies and spot fish too.

2 Green Chromis - Fred (they're ALL fred)
1 Yellow tang - Custer (as in Gen. Custer)
1 Emerald Crab - Wild Bill
She even named all the Hermits... are you ready... The Hole In The Wall Gang.

These are really funny.
We've got Randall, our Randall's Goby
Phil the filmented flasher wrasse (my husband hates that name, he says the fish is far to beautiful for a stubid name like that, I'm sorry to any Phil's out there).
I've got Jeremiah the possum wrasse: when i was acclimating him the three dog night song "Jeremiah was a bull frog" was in my head, so it seem apropriate to call him Jeremiah.

oh my gosh, these are all hilarious! I think my favorite so far are the ones about the pajamas, or Plecaso which was really clever.
Makes me want to go out and get more fish just so I can name them!

WOW you have a pair of mandarins!? In the same tank? That sounds challenging - how often do you have to replenish your copepods? (I know, thread tangent... but it's my thread so I can deviate as I see fit!)

Yeah. I have a spotted mandarin (male) and a green mandarin (female). They are both doing great. They eat frozen brine, and for copepods I go to brineshrimpdirect.com. They sell freeze dried and arctic copepods. I just throw in a scoop of copepods once a day. Crazy thing is I bought them because they looked cute and I knew nothing about them, but I've studied up since then, and they're getting everything they need now.

Ok well I am feeling so much better my whole family pick a fish either by color or charectoristics. and then they name them... None take care of the just name them then ask me to report updates about "their" fish.
Yellow corris wraasse is sassafrass he is always bumpning into everyone (the MAN'S)
dragon looking blenny is drago (my orphan my dad brought home for me)
red lip blenny- lenny (mom's)
Sea slug- sluggo (mom's)
Lettuce Nudibranch- electra (supposed to be mine still trying to rename him)
the sm school of chromis- the crack heads (mom's)
Mandrin Gobie- speckles (the MAN's LOL)
My fish is the powder brown tang - hammy ( mom named him b/c he is all up in your face when ever I check on the othe misc stock...
Out of the whole tank I named one fish.... lol
My money the family's fun...lol
My son is in love with sassafrass and hammy (he's all of 7 months old and they swim)

That is so cute! Sassafrass is a really good one, too.
I still have yet to think of a name for my baby 6-line wrasse... although I'm thinking "Blimpie" because his stomach swells every time he eats b/c he eats so much! Any ideas?
