You may need more rock if you have two tangs.
Hiding spots for the new tang will decrease stress and allow it to acclimate easier.

I think that you have many choices to choose from. I know it might seem like i am new because i just got on here. But i have 4 years of experience. But i think there could be a lot of possibilities for you.
1. Sailfin Tang ( These are great fish)
2. Chocolate Tang
3. Yellow Tang
4. Purple Tang
5. Tomini Tang
I mean there is lots more that you can get for under 50 bucks but i think these would be great choices for you.

As far as a tang is concerned? Don't take this wrong, but, a bigger tank. A 55 is pushing the very limits on swimming room for tangs.

It wasn't mean badly and I hope it wasn't taken that way. A 55 is simply the very very limit of swimming room for tangs and especially the yellows.
