tomatoe clown losing color?????

i have a set of tank raised tomatoe clowns that have hosted with an anemonie for two years now. they have began breeding, however the male has lost all of his dark coloring to his main body where for lack a better discription i will say black spot has now turned all bright orange. the female still has the same colors as well as the outcast male clown that she won't breed with. is this a bad thing? has anyone else seen it or had it happen?

this i understand kinda like us and gray hair but this male has his bright white stripe and bright orange body now. it is not like a dulling of color but an absence of black.
