string from clownfish

hi, i have an occelaris clown and he has the white string hanging from him which means he has parasites. What would be the best way to get rid of the internal parasite with the least stress: fresh water dip, malachite green, or copper. Also, if a fresh water dip is good, how long and how many times should drive the parasite out or kill it? thanks a lot

for internal parasites the only thing i know of to use that is also reef safe is metronidazol.

does it have any other symptoms? I usually notice this with clownfish disease.

This is how I've always done it

This thread might be useful. I've followed this process almost to the letter over the years and it normally works. Sometimes getting the fish out of the tank is the most stressful part.

I hope everyone is okay
