Stocking Thoughts on a 135-Gallon Reef

Here are some fish I have considered (obviously not all of these in the one tank). Any obvious additions or deletions? Any feedback on any of these?

Zebrasoma flavescens Yellow Tang; Paracheilinus carpenteri Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse Harem; Pterapogon kauderni Banggai Cardinal (pair); Premnas biaculeatus White Stripe Maroon Clownfish (pair) OR Amphiprion latezonatus (pair); Salarias fasciatus Lawnmower Blenny; Ecsenius midas Midas Blenny; Acanthemblemaria sp. Barnacle Blenny; Chromis viridis Green Damsel (school); Amblyeleotris randalli Randall’s Goby; Echidna nebulosa Snowflake Eel; Centropyge loricula Flame Angelfish; Genicanthus melanospilos Swallowtail Angelfish; Opistognathus sp. Tiger Jawfish; Odonus Niger Triggerfish

Blue Jaw Triggerfish

UPDATE: If we have a trigger, I've decided to go with a Xanthichthys auromarginatus (Blue Jaw Triggerfish)...maybe even a small group of 1 male and 2 females.

not a big fan of the snowflake eel. the Zebra moray is a better choice for a mixed tank. much less likely to eat your fish. snowflakes can make quick work out of most of the blennies you have listed.

lawnmower blennies can be tough to keep long term depending on your algae situation.

Wouldn't a trigger eat your reef?

Thanks, Geoff. We're not sure about the eel at all, but thanks for your feedback on the Zebra. It would be one of those two for sure if we decide to try an eel in this tank (although we did consider the Chainlink Eel (Echidna catenata) too.

Lawnmower Blenny is out. We're now thinking something along these lines:

A yellow tang, a Naso Tang (maybe), a small harem of Carpenter's flasher wrasses, a pair of Banggai cardinals, a school of longspine cardinals, a pair of clowns, a swallowtail angel, a blue jaw triggerfish, an orchid dottyback, a pair of Blue Stripe Neon gobbies, a midas blenny, and/or a barnacle blenny.

i would also avoid the pseudocromis. they are monster meanies. you have nothing else even close to that bully on the list and i am afraid it will quickly become head honcho in the tank. it will also make adding fish later very difficult. pretty much stay away from any of the pseudocromis.
